this web site should be taken down

TITLE PARTNERS PLUS

It's no longer in business. Despite their claims that they were RESPA compliant, they weren't. The entire illegal operation has been shut down by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the FBI.

Why is this web site still sitting up there in the cloud making unsuspecting surfers confused? Their claims are bogus but some people believe everything they read.

Let's stop the kickback cycle. It stops one step at a time. Who do we need to talk with to get this kickback promising calculator off the net?

I just read every page of the Title Partners site, and I don't know how anybody could construe any part of their business model legal. What a joke that it took PA and the FBI so long to shut it down. And shame on UGT for letting this go on!

They knew about it, too. I spoke with First Am back in 2006 when I first saw it.

Once again, the almighty dollar wins again! How much cash did this company launder for their "Partners" over the years? This is a disgusting example of where our industry went, and where we much drag it back from! Unfortunatly we cannot count on our underwriters to do it for us, we must be active within our Land Title Associations and root these company's out from within. Good Reporting!

Sadly, I don't believe that any ABA, whether compliant or not, is any better than another. All rely upon a captive supply of business, if you will, and as a result, level of service fails to be a priority.

Let's all play on a level field and get business because our service is superior, not because our partners staff is "leaned upon" to use us.

Here's the funniest/saddest part of this, quoting from its "Title Services" tab:

"Escrow Dispersements

Your broker check is wired directly into your account or overnighted to your office. You will never have to wait for your fee again!"

While escrow "dispersements" are an unfortunate commonplace in the industry, I've never seen anybody brag about them until now.

For outsiders: "dibursements" are generally good, "dispersements" are bad.

sorry "disbursements."

It appears Mr. Olson is the web designer and Title Partners Plus is his customer. He may not be aware that the site should come down. And people at Title Partners Plus may not be able to shut it down without going through Mr. Olson. If you want the site to come down, it looks like the person to get in touch with is Mr. Olson

Thanks for the info. I think a shutdown should come from regulators. If Mr. Olson was paid for his services, I don't see that he has the right to take the site down.
