affinity relationship?

This kind of cracks me up.  


First it was called controlled business.  


Then the folks setting up referral nets didn't like the sound of that so that, so...


They changed the name to affiliated business.


Then the folks setting up referral nets didn't like the sound of that so that, so...


They started calling it joint ventures.


Then the folks setting up referral nets didn't like the sound of that so that, so...


Now they want to call it affinity relationships.
